I wanted to write a separate blog post about our really cool perk on our IndieGoGo campaign for our new film Pitching Tents. It's a mentorship perk that allows you to work with us on set and give you personal one-on-one counseling in how to break into the business or make your first movie. It's a wonderful opportunity for someone who dreams of making their own movies someday. This is your filmmaking bootcamp!
We are offering twelve positions for interns who would like to join us on set and be mentored in the department of their interest.
We can accept two people per department for one week at a time. The perk is set at the $3500 level. I know that seems high but we will be paying for your lodging and food (flight not included) from those funds and you will have direct access to the filmmaking process and be given personal attention from the producers, director and department heads during which we can discuss your goals and aspirations in the film business. You will be able to establish lifelong relationships with industry professionals.
As we all know this industry is about who you know and the experience you amass. This opportunity will give you both.
